Wallet Update 0.51.12: Improved Bitcoin & Litecoin Connectivity, TRX20 Balance Fixes, and Enhanced App Stability

We are excited to introduce Wallet version 0.51.12, a stability-focused update that improves network efficiency for Bitcoin and Litecoin, fixes delayed TRX20 token balance updates, and resolves several rare crashes affecting synchronization and local data storage.

This release is designed to reduce unnecessary network usage, ensure more accurate asset data on charts, and enhance overall reliability when sending or exchanging crypto assets.

Reduced Network Connections for Bitcoin and Litecoin

Version 0.51.12 introduces improvements in how the wallet handles multiple address types for Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC).

Previously, users with several BTC or LTC address formats could experience redundant network connections being created in the background. This has now been optimized to:

  • reduce device resource consumption
  • decrease overall network traffic
  • improve blockchain synchronization stability
  • enhance performance on mobile devices

These changes are especially beneficial for users managing multiple wallet address types within a single account.

Fixed TRX20 Token Balance Update Delay

We resolved an issue where TRX20 token balances on the main dashboard could appear outdated or refresh with a delay after receiving new blockchain data.

With this update, token balances are now refreshed immediately once the latest network information is received, ensuring a more accurate and responsive portfolio overview.

Improved Asset Price Consistency on Charts

Users may have noticed that switching between chart timeframes (e.g., 1D, 1W, 1M) could previously affect the displayed asset price.

In version 0.51.12, this issue has been fixed. Asset prices are now:

  • consistent across all time intervals
  • independent of selected chart timeframe
  • accurately aligned with real-time market data

This ensures more reliable price tracking when analyzing cryptocurrency performance.

Sending and Exchange Validation Improvements

We’ve made important improvements to transaction validation logic:

  • Fixed a rare issue where the Next button did not activate after entering transaction details when sending crypto
  • Added proper balance verification before initiating token swaps or exchanges

Users can no longer start an exchange with insufficient funds, preventing failed transactions and improving user safety.

Favorite Tokens List Fixes

This update resolves issues related to managing favorite assets:

  • COSA token can now be successfully added to the favorites list
  • wDASH token can now be removed correctly from favorites

These changes improve portfolio customization and asset management.

Enhanced Application Stability and Crash Fixes

Version 0.51.12 addresses several rare crashes that could occur under specific conditions:

  • Crash when saving or updating an account after Android Keystore authentication expired (UserNotAuthenticatedException)
  • SQLiteDatabaseCorruptException occurring during internal Zcash SDK synchronizer operations
  • IllegalStateException when:
    • navigating to the Hidden Wallet Terms screen after purchasing Premium
    • using Market Widgets on the main dashboard
  • FOREIGN KEY constraint failed error when saving wallet balances to local cache

These fixes improve wallet reliability, background data synchronization, and database integrity.
